Brazilian born Claudia Rey, known worldwide as "Rey", learned to draw and paint a very early age with her mother, also an artist. Later she graduated from the well-known Arthur Alvares Foundation University in Sao Paulo with a B.A. in Advertising and a Master's in Cinema. While living in Brazil, since 16 years of age, she worked in advertising and after in fashion, becoming a life-style entrepreneur by opening her Liquid Sky clothing boutique and cosmetics factory and abel with her Partner Carlos Slinger ( Aka dj soulsliger ). Also, introducing the innovative concept of the "in-store" DJ and Vivienne Westwood clothing to Brazil.

In 1989, Liquid Sky was opened in the Big Apple, on the corner of Broome and Wooster, Soho. Soon, it was embraced by recording artists, the up and coming hip-hop icons of today, new designers (as 555 soul etc… ) and the Fashion establishments alike as a the place to be and the style to have for the urban post-punk of the 90's, When liquid sky shop

As the nineties progressed into the 2000's the Liquid Sky enterprise branched out as a Record Label and opened in Tokyo, with her Partner DJ Soul Slinger Today, the label has worldwide recognition and has been approached for several joint-ventures, amongst those the sold-out one-of-a-kind t-shirt collection called "(Collector’s Item)" for Selfridges, on the second floor. Currently, Rey has been dedicated to her art. Between London, São Paulo and Berlin, concentrating on her solo exhibits and conceptual "Dis Installations". She is also working on a Life-style Complex Project in Berlin involving: fashion, art, ecology, nutrition, technology, music and much more. For Rey, art is not defined on canvas alone, possibilities of expression are unlimited and she is many.
